Tablet was founded in the year 2000 by Laurent Vernhes and Michael Davis, a pair of new-media veterans in search of a cure for boring travel and an antidote to the internet's most common affliction: an overdose of options. Sixteen years on, Tablet is still growing fast, and for that we credit three things: a mission with resonance, a lot of hard work, and -- perhaps most important -- an extremely talented team. Our New York office doubled in size in 2011, and we're not done expanding yet.

ACQUISITION MARKETING MANAGER:

As the first hire reporting to the Head of Acquisition, our Acquisition Marketing Manager will be both high-level strategic and hands-on tactical in ideation through execution of partnerships and social media campaigns. We see partnerships and social media campaigns as a clear path forward for Tablet. Our marketing practice is lean and requires a creative and resourceful self-starter who wants to collaborate across company departments in order to bring their ideas to life and make high-impact contributions to Tablet's brand, voice, and revenue growth.

As you transition into the main driver of partnerships, you'll develop new and mutually beneficial marketing and business partnerships with outside brands (through sweepstakes, content, membership signups, etc), manage our Affiliate Program, and onboard influencers to evangelize Tablet. We don't have a playbook - this is an opportunity to experiment with partnerships that bring value to both sides (this isn't about high spend for logo visibility).

Through the execution of innovative and metrics-driven marketing campaigns you'll deliver traffic, bookings, membership sales, and new customers. This is an end-to-end role where you'll create content to be used across marketing channels, define success-metrics for campaigns, develop media reporting and measurement plans, and optimize performance for acquisition. Your first project will be to develop strategy, structure, and process for a social media content calendar (both paid and organic across platforms).

As you grow with the company, the role will expand to manage additional marketing acquisition channels. We're looking for a team player, equal parts analytical and creative, motivated to adapt to any marketing discipline to help meet our growth goals.

REQUIREMENTS:

* 4+ years experience successfully driving customer acquisition and revenue growth through social media and partnerships
* BA/BSdegree with a strong academic record
