Position Summary
The Adobe Display Consultant is responsible for supporting the technical development of the Adobe Display Consulting business. In this role, the Technical Consultant will guide strategic development of display media buying by identifying partner opportunities, leading technology relationships and integrations, and developing usage best practices. This person will work as part of a cross-functional team, with responsibilities around providing market and competitive intelligence, collaborating with Product Teams to develop and deliver project timelines, and partner with optimization consultants on display strategy. Responsibilities
- Must have several years experience working in the Display space, with an expert understanding of DSPs, ad exchanges, content and ad networks, retargeting networks and ad operations.
- Desire and motivation to broaden expertise in the field of display media trading, including real-time bidding, audience retargeting, behavioral targeting.
- Individual will guide display consulting team, with focus on building display programs within biddable media environment, identifying integration opportunities, and leading implementation, strategy, optimization and execution.
- Mentor Consultants to develop understanding of technical requirements in display campaigns. Must provide constructive criticism and insights around strategy, campaign setup, and customer communication skills.
- Lead strategic guidance and education for clients with varying levels of display understanding; articulate details to client IT teams while leading campaign code implementations.
- Produce process documents and lead delegation of new assignments across internal team.
- Provide functional & business expertise to Product, Engineering and Sales teams.
- Manage customer expectations appropriately and keep projects on schedule and within scope. Must be able to manage a team to a set number of hours.
- Partner with sales team to scope hours needed for client assignments.
- Must be comfortable generating and prioritizing new ideas to internal teams and clients.
- Analyze large and detailed, yet incomplete, data sets in order to make recommendations around follow-up campaigns.
- Manage analyst and development teams to diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues, ensure proper creative display, validate data, and properly manipulate JavaScript, XHTML and CSS.
- Manage multiple projects, with multiple remote teams, at one time.
- Identify opportunities within current client base to implement display programs.
- Interact frequently with clients via phone, email, and in-person.
- Work with Director and Account Executives to ensure internal understanding and support client renewals.Requirements
- Proven track record on improving media advertising programs.
- 4-7 years online media and advertising experience.
- Advanced understanding and experience with Ad Trafficking .
- Expert knowledge of online media and advertising business models.
- Expert knowledge of biddable media space, including ad exchanges, networks, DSPs, and 3rd party data providers.
- Experience presenting in front of large groups. Must be very comfortable in a client-facing role.
- Experience building display campaign strategy and leading test methodologies
- You must have a passion for the web, online marketing and creating positive user experiences.
- Solid understanding of client and server-side programming languages, database management and APIs.
- Intermediate JavaScript, CSS and XHTML.
- Solid understanding of online marketing and web analytics.
- Experience with Cognos, SPSS, SAS, Business Objects or other BI & statistical toolsets a plus
- Must be entrepreneurial in nature: self-motivated, responsive, and dedicated to customer success.
- Possess an innovative, problem-solving, and solutions-oriented mindset.
- Exceptional organizational, presentation, and communication skills - both verbal and written.
- Demonstrated ability to learn quickly, be a team player, and manage change effectively.
- Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Bachelor's degree required.
