The Post-Graduate Fellow serves a key resource within Norton Healthcare's Improvement Network through strong collaboration with leaders across the system promoting optimal value-based care for our patients. This role will require a 2 year commitment to NHC. Year 1 will focus on interpersonal, basic operational, and leadership development skills while rotating through select clinical and business support departments across the system. As a part of the operational learning, Fellows will be trained in NHC's problem solving methodology (DMAIC: Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, and Control) and will lead a strategic project as part of this training from concept or idea to Control. Year 2 will include development of advanced leadership skills and longer rotations through both Inpatient and Outpatient settings with operational oversight in those areas. The second year will also include two large-scale projects selected by the members of NHC's leadership team. This position will work closely with their assigned executive mentor as well as other key leaders in the system to in pursuit of performance excellence across NHC's Pillars of Success. While this role will have a strong emphasis on expanding the didactic components of graduate level training, Fellows will have a rigorous mentoring and accountability structure in place to ensure timelines are met and all deliverables are effectively completed.
