Assist with and facilitate the human resource and EHS processes for all designated business locations.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide immediate support to the Operation and HR Managers as needed and directed
Respond to and provide assistance for all internal and external HR-related inquiries
Weekly payroll entry and handling of related reports
Support of hiring process by greeting and onboarding new hires
Process personnel action changes in all applicable HR systems
Maintain records of personnel-related data including but not limited to payroll, personal information, leaves, collective bargaining, etc. in paper and electronic form ensuring all employment requirements are met.
Assist employees with understanding various self-service systems such as Workday
Enter accident information into EHS website
Manage and track local EHS training
Conduct/attend local EHS meetings-take and post notes to share drive and local safety board
Safety equipment ordering, distribution, and maintenance
Ensuring company, state, and federal regulatory compliance of HR and EHS practices
Additional duties assigned by the Operation and HR Managers, including but not limited to:
Answering the local TycoIS mainline & checking voicemail
Telemanagement for employee cell phones
Ordering supplies and general filing
Liaising with other departments and functions as needed
* High School diploma or equivalent
* One (1) to two (2) years of experience
* Extreme confidentiality
* Able to multitask
* Time management
* Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
* Typing skills
