Administrative Assistant - ASAP in Pico Rivera
Immediate need for an Administrative Assistant in the city of Pico Rivera. Must be able to commit to a 1 year assignment.
Typically requires a minimum of an AA degree or equivalent plus 3 or more years of related experience as an Administrative assistant or office manager.
Proficient in Microsoft Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
Ability to type accurately using standard business vocabulary and grammar.
Excellent organization and time management skills.
Excellent interpersonal, verbal, written communication skills.
Must demonstrate sound judgment, a high degree of personal integrity and the ability to handle confidential tasks and information.
Ability to work effectively with all levels of employees and external contacts.
This position will report to the Fleet Services, Strategy & Maintenance Operations Manager.
Supports, communicates and coordinates administrative activities for Fleet Services management team.
Provide assistance to Fleet leadership team by handling various administrative duties while maintaining strict confidentiality in all matters.
Arranges and monitors meetings, calendars, catering and travel requests. Prepares expense reports and submits for approval.
Assists in planning meetings and developing agendas.
Uses discretion in answering and screening mail, email and telephone calls. Responds to or routes inquiries to appropriate personnel or department. Brings attention to matters of major importance. Researches, compiles and summarizes information to prepare correspondence. Reviews and proofreads written material to ensure accuracy, neatness, proper spelling, punctuation and grammar. Recommends changes to improve readability and clarity. Maintains confidential files and records.
Provide periodic and short term relief to other fleet administrative assistants.
