JOB DESCRIPTIONSuperior group is looking for an Administrative Assistant I – Operations for our client located in Gretna, LA
Provides dedicated administrative and clerical support for specific functions or management within a department.
Updates and distributes regular reports.
Maintains databases master lists statistics and essential files needed by management to ensure efficient record keeping and maintenance of files.
Coordinates information reviews for accuracy and records all changes to ensure accurate data keeping.
May generate a variety of reports for managerial review and approval to assist with controls needed by the department.
Monitors and coordinates procedures for audit and control of information used by the department to ensure compliance and safety of information.
Provides clerical and administrative services for staff as needed to ensure efficient operation of the department.
Fields and directs telephone calls to ensure a smooth transition to all staff.
Receives all incoming RightFax documents and distributes to all staff in a timely manner to ensure quality customer service.
Signs for courier deliveries and notifies personnel that packages have arrived to maintain proper material flow.
Works with staff and couriers to resolve delivery issues to ensure that clients receive packages securely.
Fields and directs customer inquiries and notifies service providers to ensure that quality customer service is provided to every client.
Basic computer skills (including Microsoft Word Excel and Outlook) are required.
Required Skills / Qualifications:
High school diploma
Minimum of 2 years’ experience as Administrative Assistant.
