JOB DUTIES:

This position will be responsible for providing administrative support to the DGSOM Office of Admissions. Assist in office duties, including front desk reception, filing, data entry, and helping with admissions and recruitment events.



JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor s degree strongly preferred, Master s degree preferred. Must be able to handle frequent interruptions. Skill in communicating with prospective and current applicants with diplomacy. Must be able to work with confidential data. Must have excellent people skills. Demonstrated computer skills including word-processing, use of spreadsheets and data entry. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Familiarity with UCLA systems (Bruin Buy, Travel Express, etc.) preferred. Skill with using Microsoft Outlook programs (i.e., Word, Excel, and email). Skill in prioritizing assignments to complete work in a timely manner when there are changes in workload and assignments, pressures of deadlines, and/or a heavy workload.
