RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Performs a wide variety of secretarial/administrative duties to support assigned organizational unit. Assists Program/Department Head or Staff with coordination/execution of administrative tasks necessary to meet the goals/objectives of Visiting Nurse Service of New York and Visiting Nurse Service, Home Care. Works under moderate supervision.
Licensure: For locations where driving a VNS supplied vehicle is performed, a Valid New York State Driver's License may be required.
Education: High School Diploma or the equivalent required. Associates Degree (or equivalent in education and experience) in Business Administration, Office Management/Technology, or related discipline, preferred.
Experience: Minimum of two years general office experience required. Effective oral/written/verbal communication and customer service skills, required. Proficient in personal computers, including Microsoft Word, Excel, required.
