JOB DESCRIPTIONAPPLY Dewberry is seeking an Administrative Assistant for its Lanham, MD office who is energetic, organized, a self starter, friendly and easy for people to work with. The successful candidate will provide office administrative operations, work on proposals and assist with compiling data for management review. The position requires an in-depth knowledge of business unit/operations practices and structure. The Administrative Assistant must be capable of performing program support functions; such as archiving and retrieving data, responding to incoming calls and emails, preparing standardization correspondence, and performing PC oriented tasks. Proven proficiency with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook are required.","Creating and preparing a variety of reports and presentations in PowerPoint, Excel and Word
Preparing materials for meetings (agendas, presentations, documents, notes)

Greet guests and employees who come on location. Act as the point of contact for all deliveries, maintenance repairs and client pick-ups.
Maintain conference rooms. Schedule meetings and keep organized. Provide food and beverage services during meetings. Set up WebEx meetings and send reminders.
Prepare NDX/FedEx labels/packages. Assemble large volume mailers for Project Manager's.
Assist with seasonal mailings. Sort mail and deliver faxes.
Human Resource Coordination. Set up orientation sessions for new employees. Perform tasks which provide new staff with introductory experience and familiarization with company/office policies and procedures
Archive projects to Iron Mountain/Accutrac
Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Other administrative tasks as assigned
High school diploma required, Bachelor's degree preferred
2 years of experience in the field or in a related area required.
Expert level knowledge of MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and MS Outlook required
Basic knowledge of MS Access preferred
Ability to work independently while following instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.
The ability to learn and rapidly become proficient in; JD Edwards EnterpriseOne, Deltek Vision, and other Dewberry-specific software programs
