Position Title: Administrative Assistant Shift: Monday Friday 7:30 4:30 Salary: $16 - $21 DOE Duration: Temporary to Permanent Position Summary: Responsible for supporting MRO operations, MRO Customers, and MRO support departments Essential Job Functions (listing most important first): Create and edit professional documents, contracts, and forms in Microsoft Office; Advanced level MS Office skills required Create, maintain, and enter information into company databases Set up and manage paper or electronic filing systems, recording information, updating paperwork, or maintaining documents, such as maintenance records, correspondence, or other material Greet visitors or callers and handle their inquiries or direct them to the appropriate persons according to their needs Maintain scheduling and event calendars using MS Outlook Complete forms in accordance with company procedures Schedule and confirm appointments for clients, customers, or supervisors Make copies of correspondence or other printed material Operate electronic mail systems and coordinate the flow of information, internally or with other organizations Compose, type, and distribute meeting notes, routine correspondence, or reports, such as presentations or expense, statistical, or monthly reports Provide services to customers Review work done by others to check for correct spelling and grammar, ensure that company format policies are followed, and recommend revisions Support projects or contribute to committee or team work Order and dispense office supplies Learn to operate new office technologies as they are developed and implemented Coordinate conferences, meetings, or special events, such as luncheons or trade shows Arrange conference, meeting, or travel reservations as needed Prepare conference or event materials, such as flyers or invitations Support Sales and Marketing for the MRO Minimum Qualifications: 4+ years Administrative Experience; Associates Degree + highly desirable Excellent communication skills, written and verbal Ability to consistently meet deadlines Attention to detail Microsoft Office Proficiency Word- Advanced; Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint Intermediate; MS Project a +++ Type 50 WPM PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Ability to lift 20 pounds, stand and walk for extend periods of time when necessary sit at a desk for the majority of day.
