Job Description


VSolvit LLC is seeking a Part Time Administrative Assistant (25 hours weekly) to assist with clerical and administrative tasks in support of several departments at our Headquarters in Ventura. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8am - 1pm. The successful candidate will be responsible for variety of tasks under the direction of the Corporate Operations Manager. We are looking for the individual with strong Microsoft Office skills and exposure to Google Docs who brings experience supporting multiple managers. Ability to write, proofread, edit, and format documents is a plus! You will cover a lightly visited and secured reception area and adjacent rooms, and will grant electronic entry to candidates at time of interview and visitor meetings that may take place. The administrative role is important in that it will grow in responsibility and detail of work. As the first person that may be encountered by visitors and callers it will be important to project a positive image of VSolvit LLC.

Below is a list of typical tasks the Part Time Administrative Assistant should expect to be part of the regular work activities:

Will complete projects and special assignments directed by Corporate Operations Manager

Administrative tasks, including answering multi-line telephone, filing, typing, managing front desk, setting up conference rooms and data entry

Will be responsible for document preparation in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Docs

Process outgoing and incoming mail

Process Travel Requests

Position Requirements

Basic Qualifications:

High School Diploma

2+ years experience with Microsoft Office including Excel, Word and PowerPoint

2+ years' experience in an administrative, clerical or records management type role

Preferred Qualifications:

Associated or Bachelor s Degree

5+ years administrative experience supporting one or more managers

Expert level user - Microsoft Office Suite, Visio, Google Apps and Gmail

2+ years' experience writing, proofreading, editting and format documents.

Clearances Required
Must be able to pass an employment background check.

Ability to work from either HQ office in Ventura CA or at times Newbury Park CA office.
