Job Description

The Rockefeller University, a leading biomedical research institute, seeks a Administrative Assistant (Part-Time, 20 hours per week) to join Living Matter. Will be responsible for office and laboratory coordination including acting as the liaison between laboratory members and any university or outside service, managing correspondence and documents, handling budgets and accounting services, organizing travel, coordinating busy calendars, scheduling meetings, organizing and coordinating student and postdoctoral applications, overseeing purchase orders and laboratory inventory, and handling any administrative duties as necessary.

Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required. Must have previous office experience, excellent organization and communication skills, strong attention to detail, and computer proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite. Fluency in French a plus.
