JOB DESCRIPTIONAdecco is currently assisting a local client in their search for an experienced ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT in the Purchasing Department in Sandusky, OH. This position is a long term temporary job opportunity. The PURCHASING ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT will be responsible for various administrative and clerical duties, including supporting the purchasing staff. Responsibilities for the PURCHASING ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT include but are not limited to the following:
. Attending to all administrative and clerical duties required by the Purchasing Department
. Producing a variety of correspondence and reports
. Willing to speak with suppliers over the phone
. Interacting with various departments within the organization to acquire the necessary information for processing orders
Candidates must meet the following PURCHASING ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT requirements for consideration:
. High school diploma or GED
. 1-2 years of related work experience - Purchasing experience a plus
. Must be proficient in MS Word, Excel
. Must be results oriented and able to produce finished tasks in a timely and accurate manner
. Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and have good phone skills
. Must be able to work independently and as part of a team
. Background check and drug screen required
We have an opening Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Pay for this position is $11.00/hour. This is a long term temporary job opportunity.
