JOB DESCRIPTIONspan We are currently recruiting for a temporary to hire Administrative Assistant to the Environmental and Regulatory Compliance department. The client is a well-established midstream oil and gas organization located in Downtown Houston. The company is targeting a candidate with a minimum of two years in a departmental support or administrative support position. br br Administrative Assistant responsibilities include: br ul
li Manage large volume of invoices that come to the department, sending them to appropriate managers or field operations personnel for review and approval /li li Research invoices that have problems or need further information /li li Work with vendors and the Accounts Payable department regarding invoice discrepancies /li li Track environmental and safety-related Notices of Violation (NOV) as well as safety-related Internal Audits /li li Coordinate Records Management for the Environmental and Regulatory Compliance functions /li li Prepare external correspondence letters and mailings as well as expense reports for the Director and Managers /li /ul
br Qualifications: br ul
li Minimum two years of experience supporting a department or team is required /li li Experience with invoicing and expense reports as well as reporting in Excel is required /li li Proficiency in MS Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook is required /li li EHS and/or Oil and Gas experience is preferred /li /ul
