JOB DUTIES:

Become one of the esteemed professionals at the UCLA Blood and Platelet Center. We are seeking full-time, experienced staff to join our excellent Blood Collections Team.



MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES: Under general supervision of the Supervisory staff and Director, performs a wide variety of administrative activities for the Blood & Platelet Center. Manages all facility issues including invoices, repairs, cleaning, maintenance and site access controls. Monitors specified budget issues, and resolves discrepancies monthly. Updates protocols on an ongoing basis. Publishes monthly and annual reports including charting and graphing of data. Provides administrative assistance to Director and Supervisory staff. Other duties as assigned.





JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

High School Diploma or equivalent required, BA/BS preferred. Qualified candidates must have demonstrated strong communication skills, ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, ability to work rapidly and accurately with a strong attention to detail, and ability to work effectively in team-oriented environments. Strong computer skills are required, including, but not limited to MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint. Working knowledge of Medical terminology preferred.
