STATEMENT OF THE JOB: Responsible for supporting the outside sales team. Services existing accounts and solicits new advertising business; performs operational procedures and customer service.
REPORTS TO: Director of Sales
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS: Must be a high school graduate/ GED and college degree is preferred. Individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Must have excellent customer service and conflict resolution skills. Must be able to work independently. Proven multi-tasking skills and ability to meet critical deadlines. Strong attention to detail. Excellent written and verbal communication skills Must have proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite. Knowledge of SAP a plus. Able to operate general office equipment. Must have current driver's license with appropriate proof of insurance.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Must be highly mobile with the ability to frequently navigate between the departments of the St. Augustine Record. Must be able to use a PC, Mac and other office equipment.
WORKING CONDITIONS: Drug-free and smoke-free environment. Small office with considerable traffic, interruptions, and occasional high noise volume.
RESPONSIBILITY FOR RESOURCES: Prepared and submit required reports to management in a timely fashion, sometimes daily. Responsible for collecting cash accounts.
