More information on AECOM and its services can be found at www.aecom.com.About the Business LineEnvironment Our team of environment specialists offers clients expertise in air quality, impact analysis and permitting, environmental health and safety management consulting/due diligence, remediation consulting/engineering and construction/site restoration, specialty and emerging technologies, waste services and water and natural resources.Job DescriptionAECOM Environment is seeking an experienced Project Assistant for our Anchorage office. Providing support to a number of different project managers will make up the majority of the work assignments. The selected candidate must be detail-oriented, a self-starter, and able to perform tasks with a minimal amount of direction.

Support a variety of projects with the following types of tasks:
- Assist with document preparation, including copying and mailing
- Maintain project electronic and paper filing systems
- Assist with database and spreadsheet data entry
- Assist with data quality checking
- Perform word processing tasks
- Make travel reservations
- Record meeting minutes and produce minutes
- Work in a fast paced environment with strict deadlines

Qualifications:
- Preferred 1 to 2 years of related experience.
- Capable of coordinating project activities with project managers, project team members, and other support staff.
- Proficient in software applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Adobe Acrobat, Outlook.
- Complete projects on-time and within budgets.
- Work efficiently independently and within a team environment.
