There is a direct hire opportunity at a locked acute inpatient program licensed by the State of California for individuals experiencing an acute emergency related to a mental health condition. It is a safe, welcoming, recovery-focused place for adults age 18 and older who are having a mental health emergency to receive intensive mental health and psychiatric treatment services. Services are provided by professional and paraprofessional staff as per licensing and certification requirements. Admission is voluntary or via Welfare and Institutions Code (WIC) 5150, involuntary psychiatric hold. On average, the PHF clients stay is 5 to 7 days. Individuals are admitted to the PHF from the adjacent Crisis Stabilization Unit (CSU). People who come to the PHF receive a robust treatment program of active therapies and recovery-based services.
In order to provide quality care to individuals, the individual must be medically stable.
The limitations are set by licensing requirements and place consumer safety as the foremost concern.
Manages the day to day operation of the Program. A focus of this position is compliance with all appropriate regulations and standards, in addition to actively overseeing the Quality Assurance/Quality Improvement and Utilization Review programs. Acts as Privacy Contact; provides a safe and therapeutic environment for individuals experiencing an acute emergency related to a mental health disorder.
