Duties: Advanced Specialist with Goldman, Sachs & Co. in Jersey City, NJ. Initiate, plan and deliver non-financial regulatory reporting projects related to regulatory rule changes, strategic architecture changes, enhanced operational control/efficiency or new business requirements. Gather business requirements using different requirements gathering techniques and convert them into functional requirements. Utilize different project management methodologies including waterfall and agile to deliver projects related to business changes or regulatory requirements. Analyze and understand the Firm?s and Operations? strategic plans, business, process and architecture in order to influence design and develop solutions. Assess and streamline operational processes in order to mitigate risk, cost or service issues and generate efficiencies. Prepare test plans and perform global user acceptance testing. Monitor progress, report status and maintain quality standards throughout the project lifecycle. Develop strong relationships with project sponsors and stakeholders in Operations and Technology.

Work Schedule: 40 hours per week (9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.)

Position requirements: Bachelors degree (U.S. or equivalent) in Mathematics, Economics, Finance, Business Administration, Accounting or a related field. Five (5) years of experience in the job offered or in a related project management position. Prior work experience must include: Business analysis / project management experience related to supporting business process and/or technology change; Utilization of iterative and waterfall project development methodologies; Understanding of technology systems that process data from front end to back end systems; Proficiency in MS Office suite, Visio, SharePoint, JIRA; Utilization of financial product knowledge; Risk management / risk mitigation.

Salary: $120,224/year - $170,000/year
