Job Summary

Responsible for the coordination and development of programs for the continued evaluation of the capital programs and reserves. Accountable for the analysis and reporting of economic and capital spending data related to E&P assets. Develops unit valuation tools and evaluates/develops modeling, financial or benchmarking tools in coordination with Market and Financial Analysis departments. Prepares and analyzes economic evaluations, reserves evaluations, production forecasts, expense forecasts, and capital requirements. Drive the annual reserve evaluation process, which includes; scope, identification of critical path and bottlenecks, milestones, tracking, and resource requirements. Perform special projects and analysis for executive management. Provide input regarding development alternatives which would enhance company position as it relates to reserves. Have a thorough understanding of SEC changes and requirements.

Manages the year-end and quarterly reserve reporting process. Works with teams and outside engineering consultants to coordinate and prepare the year-end reserve report. Works with teams and financial reporting on a quarterly basis to manage the CCCT process. Present quarterly reserve updates after CCCT has been performed to senior management at monthly executive staff meeting

Perform other duties as requested or assigned.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Deep experience and knowledge in reserve estimating and forecasting with full understanding of how to comply with SEC and SPE requirements for reporting. Strong business, technical, mechanical and leadership skills necessary. Excellent communication skills verbal, written, and presentational a must.

Education and Experience Desired

Bachelors in Engineering
Masters Preferred

Minimum 20 years experience in the E&P industry
