* Timely reporting and compliance with deadlines
* Monitor/handle administrative functions, such as:
* Cargo Sales Report (CSR);
* Shipping Run;
* Accounts Receivables (A/R), foreign and inter-company payables;
* Mid Month and End Month Close Out;
* Consolidation Splitting;
* Insurance claims;
* CGP report;
* Budget preparation
* Visit principle customers regularly and accompany Sales staff on visits, if needed
* Sign off on new customer profiles
* Negotiate rates with carriers and other vendors and maintain a partnership relation
* Monitor and update department staff and fellow department heads on market trends/requirements and rate changes
* Assure proper information flow with Sales on changes and/or problems with external customers
* Ensure proper training and education of the department staff and procure cross-training
* Monitor workload and adjust, if necessary
* Evaluate staff performance on a regular basis through the PEAR process
* Interview new staff members and recommend candidates for hire to the Business Unit Manager
* Monitor traffic and cost budget compliance and advise management of any deviation
* Hold regular (at least once per month) meeting with the department staff
* Assist Sales Department in promoting new business, providing sales leads, etc.
* Disciplinary responsibility over Air Export department
* Process ownership and enforcement of Air Export department
* Decide and enforce corrective measures to ensure operational excellence


* Industry experience: minimum 5 years
* Management experience: minimum 2 years
* Language skills: fluent in English, second language a plus
