GENERAL SUMMARY:
Responsible for greeting and registering patients, answering telephone calls, scheduling appointments, pulling and filing medical charts when indicated and coordinating the MATCH data (for ODH funded clinics). Demonstrates competence defined (*) in Ambulatory Registration Specialist responsibilities in providing age-appropriate care and service to patients from the age of birth to 21 years, and selected adults.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:


High school diploma or equivalent, Associates degree preferred.

One to two (1-2) years clerical experience in a medical setting.

Proficient with computer including MS office.

Must be able to answer multiple telephone lines, file documents, pull medical charts.

Excellent customer service skills.

Successfully pass a registration and data entry test.

MINIMUM PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:


Must be able to see, hear, stand, walk, speak, read and perform manual tasks with or without accommodation, and care for oneself with little or no difficulty.
