The CAD Administrator provides focused expertise related to facilities and real estate documents and data. Maintains drawings and database to reflect as-built conditions aiding in facilities decision making and planning. This results in accurate facility floor plans and background data for real-time use in reporting, daily planning, strategic planning, and facility financials.
Are you up to the challenge of contributing to the implementation, maintenance and upkeep of facilities AutoCAD drawings and related facilities and real estate data* If so, your mission would include
Documenting and providing detailed design layouts of new and existing office space and furniture.
Drawing polylines in accordance with the selected space measurement protocols as communicated by client (BOMA, IFMA etc.).
Creating polylines for gross floor areas and internal spaces (rooms). Coordinating with users for CAD team to receive updates from planning, work orders and design and construction.
Uploading/integrating drawing data into CAD system.
Updating and maintaining p-line drawings, space data and occupancy data based on move information and project information provided by client.
Updating, maintaining and providing ongoing support to validate and verify the accuracy of CAD Space IDs and related data.
Participating in Client and Internal project review meetings.
Monitoring layout, design, and space plan of facilities in relation to the move plan.
Learning and applying new methods of space design for specific customer needs.
3 5 years of AutoCAD experience; Ideally AutoCAD certified.
High proficiency with a recent version of AutoCAD.
Revit/BIM experience preferred.
CAFM/TIFM/IWMS systems experience a plus (ARCHIBUS, TRIRIGA, Centerstone, etc.).
BSc/BCA/MCA/Msc/BE or equivalent from a reputed university.
Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
Demonstrated team and collaboration skills.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and quality.
Willingness to take ownership of requests; prioritize and meet deadlines.
