THE ROLE IN BRIEF:
Corporate Strategy & New Ventures is responsible for defining the firm s growth strategy and organically developing new products and services. In helping to fuel the growth engine of a high-growth company, the department enjoys close partnership with the CEO and executive team. Unparalleled access to the executives of leading healthcare and education organizations and industry-leading marketing capabilities offers motivated, entrepreneurial candidates a unique opportunity to quickly affect systemic change.

This opportunity is based in Washington, D.C.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
As part of a small team, Analysts will help lead the research, development, and launch of multiple new product opportunities:
- Identify and size market opportunities
- Conduct rigorous market testing
- Assess competitive pressures
- Develop pro-forma analyses
- Assist in product development efforts
- Play a key role in initial sales and implementation activities

Analysts will support development and refinement of the company s overall growth strategy:
- In partnership with general managers from across the company, lead analyses of growth opportunities for existing lines of business Identify and size market opportunities
- Conduct strategic analyses to determine new product development and business development terrains
- Consistently develop and evaluate new business opportunities/ideas/potential partner companies

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor s Degree
- Minimum three months of internship or work experience
- Experience with at least two of the following:
- Working at a venture capital, private equity, or investment banking firm
- Conducting primary and secondary research
- Creating a business plan/starting your own business
- Health care or education industry experience
- Excellent academic record

IDEAL QUALIFICATIONS:
- Proven ability to boil down extensive research findings into relevant insights
- Demonstrated problem solving abilities, including experience conducting root-cause analysis
- Experience communicating with an executive level audience
- Drive to consistently meet objectives and maintain focus
- Resourcefulness--ability to procure detailed data and information
- Proven service orientation with attention to detail and follow-up
