Job Description

AmeriPath's extensive diagnostics infrastructure includes over 400 pathologists and doctorate-level scientists providing services in over 40 independent pathology laboratories and in more than 200 hospitals across the US.

The Analyst, Financial position is responsible for conducting and documenting moderate to complex financial analysis projects. Includes financial reporting, data analyses and recommendations to management with a focus on Revenue and Billing information.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1 Prepares routine financial reports and data analyses and makes recommendations to management.
2 Measures and reports monthly financial performance for business unit(s).
3 Keeps and maintains essential records and files of analyses and results.
4 Receives technical guidance from supervisor when analyzing data on more complicated projects.
5 May conduct special analyses in support of management business decisions as needed.

Education required: BA/BS degree in Finance or equivalent training and experience

Work Experience required: A minimum of 2 years experience working in a financial analyst or related role
