We are currently seeking an Analyst in Washington, DC. to conduct systems and requirements analysis, design and develop detailed specifications for developers, and prepare test plans in support of web applications.

Primary Skill Requirements / Tasks:

* Reviews and clarifies customer functional enhancement requests
* Interacts with end users to clarify needs
* Documents users and systems requirements
* Develops detailed systems specifications and designs
* Reviews, analyzes production defects to determine requirements and solutions
* Prepare regressions and systems test plans
* Firm understanding of relational databases with ability to create and run queries to facilitate systems and problems analysis
* Must have excellent verbal and writing skills

Secondary Skills:

* Structured analysis and specification writing
* Hands on use of Rational ClearCase, ClearQuest a plus
* Current position must be of similar nature
* Ability to access and query data via MS Access and/or SQL
* Willingness to become subject matter expert in application functionality and customer business process
* 7 years experience developing technical specifications
* Experience with DreamWeaver or other web design tool a plus
* Ability to design secondary database solutions

* Must be detail oriented
* Must be able to think and work independently
* Willingness to work non-standard hours when required

Additional Requirements:

* Must pass a Minimum Background Investigation (MBI-5)
* College degree required
* Must be eligible to work in the Unites States without sponsorship
