Job Summary

As the Administrative Analyst to the Senior Management team, specifically the Senior Reporting and Analysis Manager, the incumbent has responsibility for several disparate administrative systems and reporting functions such as providing APEX productivity reports, conducting payor audits and providing analysis of trends from our payment accuracy system, supporting managers with database and systems access and working on a variety of special analytical projects.

The incumbent will develop and maintain effective working relationships with the UCSF Medical Center and School of Medicine Departments.

The flexibility to orient and work at all UCSF Medical Center locations is required.

Required Qualifications

* One to two years previous experience in healthcare or health insurance environment

* Bachelor s degree and/or combination of relevant experience and education

* One to two years advanced skills of Relational Databases

* Two to three years advanced skills with MS Office Suite: Specifically Excel and Access

* One to two years intermediate skills with HTML

* Proven Analytical Skills, Specifically Experience with Performing Audits and Summarizing Variances

* Understands Standard Query Languages (SQL) to pull pertinent data for reporting and analysis

* Advance Troubleshooting various Applications and Systems

* The flexibility to orient and work at all UCSF Medical Center locations is required

Preferred Qualifications

* Bachelors in Information Systems, Programming or other Related Majors

* Epic Clarity Certification: PB Resolute

* Experience with Compiling Standard Query Languages particularly MS SQL Server

* Experience with Compiling Crystal Reports

* Experience with Trouble Shooting Macros

* Working Knowledge of Billing and the Revenue Cycle

* Prior Experience in Working in a Medical Center or Managed Care Environment

* Epic Clarity Certification: Clarity Data Model Resolute PB
