Responsibilities:The Sr.Transportation Analyst is accountable to maintain and manage the importation of approximately 16000 containers and close to $400M in merchandise imported annually. This position must also use independent judgment and problem solving skills to resolve issues and contribute to the area development.Responsible for managing international transportation functions including offshore consolidations and import transportation along with distribution and export operations.This position will communicate throughout the supply chain (internally and externally), manage and verify that all service requirements, data flow, systems, and delivery processes are followed by various internal departments and all external vendors. This position will manage, report, and develop new processes to the supplier performance metrics, and the monthly collaboration meetings with the top carriers.This includes also includes management of third party logistic providers, draymen and direct import 3rdparty warehouse locations Qualifications:Bachelor's degree and 2 to 4 years' experience Other Information:Background in Supply Chain / Logistics / Transportation preferred Knowledge of Oracle and RoadNet a plus.
