CNAs Analytics Internship Program within the Actuarial department is a dynamic ten to twelve week training program that provides:

Knowledge within the Property and Casualty insurance industry

Challenging, innovative assignments to gain real-world experience in applying data modeling skills

Use of statistical techniques to understand, analyze and interpret our customers behavior and drive company strategies

Presentation of project results to our senior leadership team

A dedicated manager and mentor

Ongoing training in the form of sessions that include luncheons with members of senior staff covering various topics related to the insurance industry

Professional and personal development activities

Additional networking opportunities

At the conclusion of the internship, individuals may be given consideration for full-time employment.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

Must be pursuing a Graduate degree in a quantitative area of study

Minimum GPA of 3.0/4.0 or 4.0/5.0 to date, with a GPA of 3.5/4.0 or higher strongly preferred

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Experience using programming languages such as SAS, R or SPSS

Interest in pursuing a career in an Analytics related role after graduation

Internship Program Location:

CNA Corporate Headquarters is located in the heart of Downtown Chicago at 333 S. Wabash Ave, just one block west of Michigan Avenue.
