This position joins a growing analytics team offering shared services support for Cox Media Group Audience department. The audience analytics team provides advanced statistics and reporting for a wide range of areas revenue, digital audience development, pricing, consumer profile development, CRM, among others.

This role would provide operational leadership for a growing portfolio of reporting, data and analytics activities. This role would work with senior leaders, analytics staff and clients to develop our roadmap for reporting, data and technology development. In addition to ensuring the day-to-day efficiency of reporting and analytics operations, this role would lead data governance activities and development of new data and analytics standards. We are constantly adding new datasets, data environments and software to our analytics toolset and this role will drive execution on many new initiatives.

The ideal candidate is someone with a great eye for detail and interest in analytics. They should be comfortable working with senior executives, clients at all levels and technical experts in person and in writing. Strong organizational skills and ability to manage projects of all sizes is a must.

30% - Manage Reporting Operations and Analytics Delivery
Manage the report portfolio identifying usage trends, working with users, recommending report addition, elimination, consolidation.
Complete routine report enhancements and additions
Complete report production and make sure we have a high-level of report delivery
Maintains up to date documentation on all reporting and production processes
Requirements gathering for new reporting / analytics needs

30% - Develop and Manage Data Environments and Toolsets
Works with analysts and clients on data roadmap and data enhancements needed to support new initiatives
Work with analysts and clients to develop data infrastructure and tool roadmap to support continued analytics development
Work with technical resources to scope, implement and QA data enhancements
Be on point to monitor and escalate data and environment failures
Work with database vendor to land new data, enhance current processes, coordinate changes
Ensures data integrity (online, offline, data layer)

20% - Establish and Document Data and Analytics Standards of Practice
Work with analysts to identify, document and propagate best practices
Lead data and code governance with particular emphasis on making sure as new analytics are developed that knowledge is leveraged by all users
Evaluate new tools and practices
Support query library development including version control standards
Develop automation and process improvements
Maintains detailed data dictionary covering all data sources

20% - Project manages large scale projects spanning all analytics topics
Gathers requirements and outlines work activities for analytics, IT and client activities
Maintains timeline, scheduling, ensures on-time delivery
Engages with all analysts and clients to develop requirements

- Bachelor's Degree required

- Experience managing detailed projects in a fast-paced environments
- Ability to multitask
- Project management experience a plus
- SQL programming experience a plus

Additional Requirements:
- Detail-oriented
- Knowledge of MS Office, Project Management practices
- Strong desire to learn new software, skills
- Good communication skills both written and verbal
