Answers and directs all hospital and physician answering service calls. Initiates emergency codes, messages and incoming calls in accordance with Hospital guidelines. Provides service for physicians subscribing to the Cadence Health Answering Service, and responds according to documented physician procedures. Provides in-house and long range paging for physicians and hospital personnel. Answers incoming calls for patient information and directs to appropriate patient location, unit or department. Additional data entry duties as assigned. Adheres to Cadence Health and department policies and provides outstanding customer service, attention to detail, and ensures that all calls are accurately documented, managed and responded to in a prompt, courteous and professional manner.
Requirements: Minimum: Qualified candidates must have two years of medical office experience or customer service. Basic knowledge of medical terminology essential. Full knowledge of Microsoft and Office products needed, Preferred: Knowledge of Sharepoint and AS400 des
