_TAPFIN IS RECRUITING QUALIFIED CANDIDATES FOR AN ANTI-MONEY LAUNDERING (AML) COMPLIANCE ANALYST POSITION IN PHOENIX, ARIZONA. THE POSITION IS CONTRACT-BASED AND WILL BE LOCATED ONSITE AT CLIENT AMERICAN EXPRESS. _

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES - ANTI-MONEY LAUNDERING (AML) COMPLIANCE ANALYST, FINANCIAL INTELLIGENCE UNIT

Conduct a time-sensitive, meticulous investigation and analysis of each instance of potential Anti-Money Laundering activity and/or suspicious financial activity across multiple jurisdictions and countries, utilizing a wide variety of research and analytical tools
*

Produce a well-written report detailing and analyzing the potentially suspicious activity and, when appropriate, prepare filing with the Financial Crimes Enforcement Network, a division of the U.S. Department of Treasury
*

Build strong relationships with strategic partners across the unit to ensure effective coordination of investigations

ARE YOU UP FOR THE CHALLENGE

*

Ideal candidates will exhibit investigative, research intensive, and/or heavy writing skills while meeting one or more of the following qualifications:

*

A minimum of two years of experience in audit, investigations or in the broader financial industry;
*

A minimum of two years of experience in the legal field without a juris doctorate;
*

A minimum of two years of experience in Bank Secrecy Act (BSA)/Anti-Money Laundering (AML) compliance;
*

Minimum bachelor's degree in one of the following, or similar, fields of study:Law, Justice Studies, English, Journalism, Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Accounting, or Government & Public Services

*

High level of professionalism, self-motivation and sense of urgency
*

Proven ability to analyze large amounts of data in order to report critical information

Preferred Additional: CAMS and/or CFE encouraged but not required.
