AON IS LOOKING FOR A FINANCE LEADERSHIP PROGRAM (FLP) ANALYST

As part of an industry-leading team, you will help empower results for our clients by delivering innovative and effective solutions as part of our Finance business group within Aon Service Corporation in Lincolnshire, IL.

This role falls under Aon s early career development program, known as Launch. Building on the development colleagues receive in the role they are hired into, the Launch program is a supplemental development program for recent college recruits.
YOUR IMPACT AS AN FLP ANALYST


The Finance Leadership Program (FLP) is a competitive and specialized leadership program designed to provide associates accelerated learning opportunities and career development over the course of the 36 month program. We are seeking candidates in our Chicago & Lincolnshire IL locations. Associates will rotate between various finance divisions within ASC every nine months to build business acumen and technical skills and also participate in formal mentorship and training programs for continuous learning and development. FLP rotations are designed to both match the experiences and interests of each associate, and also to match current business needs. The program focuses on rotations in the following practice groups:

* Financial Planning and Analysis

* Treasury

* Tax

* Corporate Accounting

* Global Consolidations Accounting

* Derivatives, Investments and Pensions Accounting

* Sarbanes-Oxley Compliance

* Internal Audit


YOU BRING KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERTISE

SUGGESTED EXPERIENCE:

* Candidates pursuing a Bachelor s Degree in Accounting or Finance

* A minimum overall GPA of 3.5, strongly preferred

* Relevant work / internship / volunteer experience

* Excellent communication skills

* Strong analytical skills

* Commitment to learning and development

* Leadership

* Adaptability and creative problem solving

* Interpersonal IQ and executive presence

* Experience with Microsoft Office Suite tools (Excel, Word, PPT) required. PeopleSoft and HFM (Hyperion Financial Management) preferred

* Results-oriented

The Launch Program was established to coach and develop future business leaders, this program launches the Aon careers of our campus hires in various full-time positions across the company. The Launch training curriculum prepares participants for success as they build relationships and explore growth opportunities throughout the organization.

The 12-month development program begins every summer with a three-day kickoff orientation at our North America headquarters in Chicago. Launch colleagues are positioned to tackle real business challenges in a collaborative environment through work assignments under the mentorship of senior leaders.
