App Developer (Process Review and Improvement / Remote Opportunity)Job ID 2016-1553Job Locations US-SC-CharlestonCategory EngineeringDepartment ..More information about this job:Overview:Applied Memetics LLC (AM LLC) is seeking an Application Developer (Process Review and Improvement) with deep knowledge of building custom web and mobile software applications to support a Veterans Affairs program. Project Overview The Clinical Knowledge Management (CKM) program is part of Veterans Affairs' Connected Health Office (CHO) that provides benefits and services to Veterans. A primary goal of the CHO is to design and implement user-friendly, high-quality mobile devices, software, and services for Veterans and their medical caregivers. Specifically, the CKM program ensures a seamless clinical, portfolio, architectural, and operational optimization of these mobile health applications. Must be a US CitizenResponsibilities:General Requirements:Minimum 3 years of experience as a team member and subject matter expert in an Agile/Scrum, Java/J2EE software development environmentExcellent communication skills and a good command of the English languageQualifications:The application developer must have experience in:Providing expert-level software application development skills for building custom web and mobile applicationsDeveloping custom software applications using current and emerging Web-standard programming, scripting, markup and database languages that include but are not limited to the following; PHP, Ruby, JavaScript, Node, HTML5, CSS3, XML, JSON, MySQL and MongoDBIntegrating 3rd party API services into custom applicationsDeveloping in a Linux-based environment using CLI toolsUsing distributed version control systems such as GitHub or BitbucketUsing principles of Object-Oriented-Programming (OOP) and Service-Oriented-Architectures (SOA)Using principles of Continuous Development, testing, and deploymentWorking within a multidisciplinary team to ensure all ODDI products and services are developed in accordance with ODDI guidelines for design, usability, scalability, performance, reliability and security Educational Requirements:Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Computer Science, Statistics or related field **Experience working in federal government environments is preferred.** #ZROptions:Apply for this job onlineApplyShareEmail this job to a friendReferShare on your newsfeedConnect With Us!:Go back to the welcome pageApplication FAQsSoftware Powered by iCIMSwww.icims.com
