span Direct Hire Opportunity in Hunt Valley, MD for Application Analyst br   br   br   br Candidate profile:  Minimum 5 years of experience with PeopleSoft, workday, or Microsoft Dynamics. br   br Workday is their current program, but will offer training if candidate doesn't have this specifically. br   br The duties will mostly be fielding tier 2 and 3 tickets coming from end users that require Workday program modifications.   br   br Also, there will be business reporting duties as well from Microsoft Dynamics. br   br Formal Job Duties" br   br Supports and configures software applications. Performs software unit testing and coordinates functional application testing to ensure the software performs as designed. Create documentation that accurately describes software applications from both technical and functional perspectives. Coordinates project tasks and assignments for systems related projects, and provides support for existing software applications. br   br The essential functions of this position are: br   br 1. Analyzes, designs, develops, tests, and implements software application systems in support of business initiatives. br 2. Adheres to standards and procedures which ensure quality and service level. br 3. Works closely with external vendors to ensure that systems are functioning as intended. br 4. Creates and distributes reports. br 5. Plans and coordinates user acceptance testing. br 6. Provides support for configuration of software applications. br 7. Provides maintenance and support for production systems. br 8. Demonstrates appropriate judgment to plan and accomplish goals. br 9. Plans for and maintains system access security. br 10. Works under close supervision but requires the ability to work independently br 11. Ensures that the confidentiality of private information is appropriately maintained. br 12. Other duties as required. br   br The minimum Knowledge, Education, Experience, Skills, and/or Abilities required to perform this job are, including any physical requirements: br   br 1. BS or equivalent (4 years) degree from an accredited college in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field preferred. br 2. Ability to take initiative and be self-motivated. br 3. Strong analytical skills. br 4. Knowledge of information technology best practices. br 5. Knowledge of object based software design and agile development concepts br 6. Strong communication skills (written and verbal). br 7. Experience working with some or all of the following software programming languages and/or environment is required: XML, XSLT, HTML, Web Services, Eclipse, MS SQL, Visual Studio, Scribe, Java, SharePoint br 8. HRIS Knowledge highly desired. br 9. Experience working with Workday, Infor/Workbrain, Microsoft Dynamics or other HCM/Financial systems is highly desired. br   br /span
