Description: This position provides application implementation and support services for users of Pardee s Meditech Clinical Information System with primary emphasis on Nursing Informatics, CPOE and Physician Documentation. The analyst works collaboratively with nursing staff, physicians, other clinical staff and the rest of the Information Technology Department to upgrade, enhance, test and implement applications/systems and processes. The application analyst acts as a liaison between clinical system users, vendors and other IS staff to address user needs and solve user problems. The application analyst also provides Meditech Clinical Information System training for newly hired staff.Minimum Qualifications: Ability to build rapport with nurses, physicians, and other clinicians. Experience training/supporting physicians and nurses with technology. Strong communication (oral and written), organizational, analytical and troubleshooting skills. Ability to work as part of a team and independently. Ability to multi-task. Minimum requirements include an Associates Degree, two years of experience in clinical information systems, and completion of approved nursing assistant or pharmacy technician coursework. Preferred requirements include graduation from an accredited School of Nursing - BSN preferred, and working knowledge/experience with Meditech C/S, physician documentation system and/or CPOE.
