Description :
The Applications Lifecycle Management (ALM) Tools Consultant/Senior Architect is a Senior Technical Leadership position within the Information Technology organization in Keysight Technologies. We are looking for a strong, globally experienced technical leader to help us lead and embrace the Software-centric solutions strategy of Keysight, primarily in consulting on ALM Tools, Processes and Best Practices to enable an integrated, Agile platform of the future, while also owning roadmaps to better integrate/converge multiple ALM tools in the environment today.

The incumbent is required to support a diverse set of ALM tools. This is a global role with regional stakeholders, partners and team members.

As the ALM Tools Consultant/Senior Architect, these are your primary responsibilities:
Consulting:
1) Understand and provide effective, sustainable solutions to business needs. Partner closely with key Business Stakeholders and Architects. Develop relationships and partnerships.
2) Recommend and apply Industry best-practices for ALM Tools and processes.
3) Strong technical consultation depth. Able to evaluate and influence out-of-the-box vs customized solutions as applicable.
4) Eloquent articulator of industry trends, thoughts and own ideas.

Technical Leadership:
1) Own tools Technology Roadmap. Define, maintain and drive adoption.
2) Tools Evolution and constantly evaluate new opportunities.
3) Operations: Primary Steward in maintaining tools Service Level Agreements (SLA), IT Security and Compliance, System Performance and other stewardship activities (application upgrade, infrastructure changes etc).
4) Optimize: Consistently driving LEAN Optimization efforts to improve performance, reduce waste and increase efficiencies.
5) Collaborate closely with other IT functions to enhance current, and design and implement future solutions.
6) Collaborate closely with 3rd party vendors (e.g Microsoft, Atlassian, IBM etc) and IT suppliers to ensure continuous progress and deliverables are met.

Qualifications :
Qualifications and Skills Required:
* At least a Bachelor s degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering. A Master s degree will be a plus.
* At least 10+ years experience in managing Software Development Life cycle (SDLC/ALM) applications and tools (e.g: Atlassian tools, Microsoft Team Foundation Server) particularly in the following areas:
o Source Code Management
o Defect Management & Tracking
o Build Management
o Test and Release management.
* 5+ years or more experience in Software development, particularly Modern C++, Microsoft .NET platforms. Experience in Cross-Platform development a plus.
* Understanding/experience on Agile, Scrum, and Kanban based Software Development.
* 3-5+ years experience in providing multi-tier Software Solutions for large/global R&D functional teams.
* Well-versed in translating business requirements and define strategic IT roadmaps.
* Very strong communication skills and the ability to work with cross functional IT and business teams.
* Strong experience in Systems Administration and understanding of various Operating Systems platforms and technologies:
o Windows
o Linux
o Embedded Operating Systems (optional)
o Web Services (IIS, Apache, tomcat)
o Storage (Flash, NAS, etc)
o Application monitoring and performance tuning.
* Exposure to the DevOps model.

Desired knowledge and Experience:
* Exposure to other ALM tools e.g MKS Integrity, Subversion, IBM Rational ClearCase, particularly in Administering the tools.
* Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) Certifications will be a plus.
* Good understanding of Cloud, IoT concepts and its implications on SDLC solution.
* Good understanding of ITIL and LEAN processes and project management.
* Good understanding of Software licensing management applications (especially, on Flexlm.)

Ideal location would be Atlanta, GA but will consider other Keysight locations: Colorado Springs, CO; Santa Rosa or Santa Clara, CA
