APPLICATION SYSTEMS ANALYST

SAINT ALPHONSUS MEDICAL GROUP (SAMG) - BOISE, IDAHO

DEPARTMENT: PRACTICE MANAGEMENT

FULL TIME - DAYS

SUMMARY:

*

Provides analysis, functional support and maintenance of software applications for multiple user customers within Saint Alphonsus Health System.
*

Builds and maintains master file maintenance; and updates tables.
*

Provides routine assistance in resolving application issues and problems.
*

Performs testing of new releases of applications/interfaces.
*

Works with enterprise, regional, and local level applications and users that may be deployed across multiple ministry organizations and geographic locations.
*

While at this level, position incumbents are increasing their knowledge of specialized applications, data analysis and the business supported.

REQUIREMENTS:

*

Bachelor's degree in healthcare or information technologypreferred and at least two (2) years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
*

Basic proficiency (2-3 yrs) with Windows based applications, etc. preferred.
*

Basic knowledge and experience (2-3 yrs) utilizing healthcare business software applications preferred.
*

Operational knowledge and experience (2-3 yrs) of supported business process preferred.
*

Excellent analytical skills and problem solving skills.
*

Ability to meet deadlines and set priorities.
*

Ability to obtain and exchange information, and follow detailed procedures.
*

Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.Ability to interface with internal business analysts, health system client users and external vendors.

Ability to participate in customer and inter-team meetings.
