Job Description


This role will be responsible for the end-to-end Production Management of all internal applications of the company. As an Application Production Services Manager you will MANAGE THE PRODUCTION SUPPORT TEAM and work on developing internal processes and/or partnering with development teams managing specific initiatives. The Production Services Manager is responsible for coordinating bug fixes between the business and technical team, interacting daily with support teams to resolve problems, managing work queue's and interfacing with developers & architects

Duties & Responsibilities

Overall Responsibility for operations of production systems for time collection, payroll processing, billing, and reporting (HG, Ceridian, Oracle)

Responsible for ensuring the quality of production runs and troubleshooting across applications and databases

Responsible for and provide leadership to Application support, system analysts, DBA's

Develop robust processes and written documentation to users, support staff and leadership team

Responsible for addressing escalations of production service systems including root cause analysis, quick problem resolution and communication to users and stakeholders.

Meeting SLA's - Response time, TAT / Resolution

Team Management - Coaching, Mentoring, Talent retention

Qualifications & Requirements

Individual with technical and management experience to lead application support teams

Experience in troubleshooting applications using Oracle DB, Postgres, SQL Server, PHP and Java applications

Understanding accounting principles and working knowledge of accounting applications such as Oracle Financial

Solid skills in data extraction using SQL across different databases and analytical problem solving skills across multiple linked database systems and applications in PHP and java

System admin skills administering and troubleshooting web applications in Apache/Tomcat, weblogic - Linux environments

Good oral & written communications skills with strong people management & team building skills essential

Prior experience providing operational support for production systems is required

Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of relevant work experience
