The DoubleTree Suites by Hilton Tucson - Williams Center in Tucson, you'll be close to Park Place Mall and Randolph Golf Complex. This hotel is within close proximity of Gaslight Theatre and Davis-Monthan Air Force Base. This hotel has facilities measuring 1800 square feet (167 square meters), including conference space. The La Quinta Inn & Suites Tucson - Reid Park hotel in Tucson, AZ is conveniently located in the central mid-town area of Tucson. This hotel has 4900 sq ft of total room meeting space. Markets catering services, food and beverages and banquet facilities through direct client contact to maximize profits from food & beverage revenues and meeting room rental. Supervises hotel and banquet staff to ensure proper delivery of services. Maintains ongoing relationships with hotel clients. Advises hotel management and negotiates contracts and agreements. Primary responsibilities include: - Establishes client base of organizations, associations, social and corporate businesses through direct outside and inside sales effort for the purpose of securing business for the hotel to ensure that predetermined sales expectations are met or exceeded. - Develops and maintains relationships with key clients in order to produce additional business. - Negotiates food and beverage prices, meeting room rental, function space, room rates and hotel services. Confirms in writing to the client and affected departments all requirements via Catering Sales contract or Event Order. - Conducts tours of the hotel and banquet facilities and exposes clients to facilities and services; entertains qualified potential clients. - Accurately forecasts individual booking revenues and cancellations; accurately tracks consumption on all bookings. - Assists the Director of Sales or General Manager with the implementation and achievement of the Catering Department Marketing Plan. - Assists the client in menu planning; coordinates food, beverage, meeting room set-up, decorations and other services as requested by the client; assures that all requirements are communicated and completed to the clients specifications. - Responds quickly to guest requests in a friendly manner. Follows up to ensure guest satisfaction. - Provides a professional image at all times through appearance and dress. - Follow companies policies and procedures and is able to effectively communicate them to subordinates. - Fulfills Manager on Duty shifts.
