What you will do:
The Area Manager will manage the USPS contract locations through the Facility Managers and Leadership team on location by efficient/effective control of the operation while maintaining service commitments; develop and adhere to budgets and goals; communicate with our customer and other resources to maintain operations and facility requirements; policy implementation and problem resolution; perform personnel management functions; training and development of leadership team, assist facility manager as necessary; maintain adherence to contractual, legal and other requirements; perform other duties as assigned.

What you need:

* High School Diploma or equivalent

* Three (3) years management experience in operating large logistic facilities or multiple facilities

* Experienced in opening new facilities of business and/or in moving a current operation to a new facility

* Job knowledge of contracts and development of business response required for potential new business and/or current contracts

* Knowledge and understanding of budgeting

* Good communication, interpersonal and organization skills

* Proficient with Word and Excel

* Ability to travel 50% to 100% per month

* Must be able to travel to facilities and review operations, including facility upkeep, management performance, process analysis, method compliance and all functions of performance

Preferred Skills:

* Associates or Bachelor's Degree
