br Under general direction, plans and conducts sales activities to sell guest rooms and meeting facilities by following Drury Sales Procedures in order to build hotel occupancy and revenues for Drury Hotels. Responsible for achieving the revenue goals set forth by the Regional Sales Manager and Vice President of Sales and Marketing. An average of 80 of time is devoted to customer contact.
br JOB DUTIES:

br * Possesses understanding of Company programs including but not limited to: 5 Step Sales Process, Drury Gold Key Club, Drury Inner Circle, SMILE reservation process, Group Inquiry Calls, and other company programs.
br
br * Contacts various market segmentsterritory through inside and outside sales calls; explains corporate programs as required. The Regional Sales Manager and General Manager determine specific market segmentsterritories.
br
br * Completes required sales documentation following each sales call in a timely manner. Including but not limited to; personal calls, telephone calls, email and follow-up calls using the automated database and trace system.
br
br * Conducts property tours and explains accommodations, amenities, rates and other company information.
br
br * Consistently chain sells by distributing marketing materials, working with National Sales Office on motor coach leads and sending leads to other Drury Hotels.
br
br * Works with property team members to coordinate and follow up on new business leads. Utilizes networking time at breakfastcocktails to promote company programs and obtain leads for new business.
br
br * Maintains hotels Drury Inner Circle Members and complies with Drury Inner Circle Rules and Regulations.
br
br * Distributes directories, special promotions, company program information and other printed material to welcome centers, local businesses and other suggested points.
br
br * Completes competitive analysis bi-annually (April and October).
br
br * Collects and compiles statistical data related to sales and marketing by utilizing resources such as Internet, Hospitality Associations and business journals.
br
br * Completes administrative duties such as: sales reports, internal and external correspondence and pre sales call plans during Non Prime-Time Selling hours.

br * Complies with hotels safetysecurity rules and instructions in performing work efficiently while protecting self, fellow workers and the hotel.
