The Assembler/Inspector position is responsible for building catheter products as well as inspecting other team members catheter assemblies to meet all quality and safety requirements. The Assembler/Inspector will identify if product does not meet specifications and use judgement in problem solving to recognize when to escalate concerns. This position will work in multiple areas and product lines and requires compliance with Good Manufacturing and Good Documentation Practices to ensure documentation is accurate and complete.

Perform visual, dimensional and tactile quality inspections
Assemble catheter assemblies that meet all quality and safety requirements
Utilize and follow established documentation and GMP practices
Comply with all quality requirements including proper documentation
Utilize a variety of instructions in written, oral, diagram or visual sample form, to process and construct acceptable finished goods and WIP product Work with limited supervision and guidance, to process and construct finished and WIP product.
Work in multiple areas and product lines as required
Other duties as assigned
This position works 1st shift
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
High School diploma or GED from an accredited institution
One year experience in Medical Device or Electronics assembly
Experience in Regulated environment
Experience with GMP and GDP strongly preferred
Experience using microscopes, rulers, calipers and other inspection equipment strongly preferred.
Ability to operate heat boxes, reflow ovens and other catheter assembly machinery
Demonstrate behaviors consistent with a quality and safety driven environment
Ability to work some overtime as required
SPECIALIZED SKILLS & OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
This position requires basic communications skills in English
Basic mathematics skills
The ability to utilize a variety of instructions in written, oral, diagram or visual sample form, to process, constructs or inspect product.
This position requires the employee to frequently sit, stand, walk, bend and occasionally lift or move up to twenty pounds. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, distance vision and the ability to adjust focus.
