Superior Group is looking for an Assembler - Level 3 for our Client located in Orlando, FL.

All candidates must be able to build from the aid of drawings, detailed planning, wiring diagrams and work instructions in a production flow line with multiple team members.
Repairs, fabrication, troubleshooting and installation of electronic devices using blueprint and schematic drawings.
Performs a variety of tasks ranging from repetitive to non-repetitive production assembly operations on electronic and mechanical assemblies and sub-assemblies such as modules, boards, panels, drawers, frames, and cables.
Works from diagrams and drawings, makes initial layouts, and uses hand and/or power tools, jigs, and saws.
Determines and follows methods and sequence of operations in performing wiring, component installation, hand soldering and cable harnessing on assembly units.
Makes continuity checks on work in process and completed.
May conduct quality inspections on processing line in accordance with quality specifications.
May disassemble, modify, rework, reassemble, and test experimental or prototype assemblies and sub-assemblies according to specifications and under simulated conditions.

Required Skills / Qualifications:

Minimum of 2 years experienced in building electro and mechanical assemblies.
Minimum of 2 years’ experience routing multiple types of cables in one interconnected assembly and understanding how to apply stain relief and appropriate bend radii.
Minimum of 2 years’ experience building system-level assemblies, such as automated test stations or simulators.

Preferred Skills / Qualifications:

Ability 50lbs.
No physical work restrictions preventing the lifting of assets (up to 25 pounds) or working on your feet all day.
Experience working in continuous improvement teams and communicating process improvements to support the team.
At least a basic understanding of lean manufacturing concepts such as 6S, flow, and takt time.
IPC 620 Acceptability Criteria -Experience working in production facilities under ISO 9001 and AS9100 certification.
