Job Description and Responsibilities
Job Description:
Assembly of complex and delicate optics and crystal devices following written and verbal instructions, electronic methods and electronic traveler software.
Mounting optics and crystals into mechanical assemblies using precision epoxy and soldering techniques.
Cleaning raw material in a vapor degreaser system on a rotation basis.
Will routinely use hand tools, ovens, hot plates, crimpers, and microscopes.
Must be able to work in a clean room environment will full gowning including gloves, face mask, hood, booties and laser eyewear. Must be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 15 pounds.
Will work closely with engineering on new product introduction. Must be willing to provide input and feedback on new processes.
Education/Work Experience:
3 - 5 years relative experience
Must have very strong English verbal and written communication skills.
