The Department of Cell Biology of the Miller School of Medicine at the University of Miami has openings for tenure track faculty members at Assistant / Associate / Professor. Current department research includes focusing on understanding mechanisms and function of host defense and innate signaling processes. Applications are sought from individuals whose research uses cutting edge technology/model systems and who would complement and expand established research areas. Applications are particularly encouraged from individuals whose research focuses on the role of the endoplasmic reticulum in facilitating host defense/stress signaling, as well as studies on glycosylation, autophagy or endosomal trafficking. Applicants should have a Ph.D. and/or M.D. degrees, participate in graduate student teaching and university service activities.
