The Department of Ophthalmology at UC San Diego (http://health.ucsd.edu/specialties/eyes/Pages/default.aspx) is committed to academic excellence and diversity within the faculty, staff, and student body. The department is recruiting a glaucoma physician-scientist with clinical research or laboratory research interests.
Candidates must have an MD or MD/PhD and a background in glaucoma diagnostics, clinical trial design, biostatistics, or optic nerve/aqueous outflow biology preferred. Candidates are required to show a demonstrated commitment to diversity and equity.
Appointment will be at the Assistant, Associate or Full Professor level in the Clinical series. Salary is commensurate with qualifications and based on University of California pay scales. Review of applications will begin on September 30, 2016 and continue until the position is filled.
