The University of California, San Diego (UCSD) School of Medicine, Department of Urology (http://urology.ucsd.edu/default.aspx) is committed to academic excellence and diversity within the faculty, staff and student body and is recruiting for a new faculty member with a focus on general urology and Men s Health. The position will service the UCSD locations. This position will include participation in patient care, teaching and research and emphasize faculty candidates with outstanding research backgrounds and the ability to have a dedicated research component to their careers.
Qualified candidates must meet the following criteria: 1) Board certification or eligibility in Urology 2) Extensive experience or fellowship training in urology is desirable 3) Commitment to research and education 4) Must have or be able to obtain a California medical license. The preferred candidate will also have experience or a willingness to participate in teaching, mentoring, research or service towards building an equitable and diverse scholarly environment.
Rank and Salary are commensurate with qualifications and based on University of California pay scales. Review of applications will commence February 15, 2016, and continue until the position is filled.
