Job Purpose/Objective:

Take an active role in the successful completion of compensation consulting projects by providing analysis, preparing reports, and ensuring client deadlines and expectations are met.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities Include:


Resolve a full range of internal and external customer requests and projects

Assists with the planning, design and implementation of base and variable pay, as well as executive compensation programs

Provides analytical support and research for client projects within broad range of industries

Conducts market-pricing of positions to assess market-competitive compensation; selects appropriate published surveys, matches actual job duties to published survey duties, analyzes and updates data

Analyzes public financial filing to value Executive and Board base salary, short-and long-term incentive opportunities, benefits and perquisites

Helps design salary structure and develop pay administration guidelines

Analyzes job analysis questionnaires or performs job analysis to create client job documentation

Performs financial modeling and statistical analyzes

Drafts reports of methodology, findings and recommendations to clients

Assists in preparing new business proposals

Help develop recommendations for new compensation strategies and philosophies

Performing additional responsibilities, as assigned



High school diploma or GED required. The most qualified candidates will have a Bachelor s in Business or Masters of Business Administration, with a concentration in accountancy, economics, finance or human resources

Relevant experience preferably with a major consulting firm is desired

Works effectively in a team environment

Must possess analytical skills and able to comprehend, manipulate and interpret statistical data

Effective presentation skills

Demonstrated ability to communicate verbally and in writing throughout all levels of the organization both internally and externally * Proficient use of applicable technology
