JOB DESCRIPTION

Assistant Director, Data & Communications:

Communications liaison to Griffin, Marketo and WebI databases with a special emphasis on extracting, analyzing and approving data from Griffin and Marketo systems. Liaise with data teams to manage, prepare and authorize data used for communications purposes.

Execute effective tactics for project completion as part of the collective AEAG team. In tandem with colleagues, manage, analyze and execute communications that focus on increasing participation, revenue and engagement from alumni. Monitor, analyze, report and execute communications within digital marketing programs interfacing with internal and external constituencies.

Collaborate with AEAG teams to implement marketing strategies for a coordinated program of fundraising and engagement activities on and off campus. Use technology to synthesize data and draw conclusions. Work with colleagues to analyze the response rate and general assessment of solicitation and communication strategies. Edit and proofread high-level communications by ensuring consistency, grammar, punctuation, usage, spelling and style of these materials.

Collaborate with colleagues across Alumni Relations and Development (ARD) to coordinate and project manage segments of high-level department communications containing complex and specialized subject matter with manager. Understand and assist in using technology to synthesize data and draw reporting conclusions. Collaborate with teams to assist in marketing alumni events and fundraising communications appropriately.
